After my last test, I logged off, then could not log back onto my DSL

Whatever was included in the latest Windows update download really

screwed
this computer up.

After scratching my head and ass for a while, I finally did a system

restore
to the settings of yesterday. Now everything seems fine again.

I hate computers.

SP2 has screwed up scores of computers where I work... it had been
blamed mostly on our co-use of Novell.... perhaps not...

What's weird though, is that I had already downloaded and installed SP2 when
it was first released, quite a while ago. I was surprised that my update
message told me that it was included in some new updates for my computer. I
figured it would know that SP2 was already installed, but ....
nooooooooo.......

It installed it again anyway and screwed the computer up. The first time I
installed it there was no problems at all.

I still hate computers. Lawn mowers and pressure washers are a lot more
user friendly.
