You won't be able to charge both at the same time and get an even
charge across the two batteries. You can charge one battery at a time
and leave the batteries connected though.
To tell the truth, Walk Mart, Harry's favorite place to shop, has a
very nice little three phase charger for around $17. Two of those and
you are all set.
I would use #8 to 10 battery cable. If you want to get really fancy,
use quick disconnects.
One last thing. Head off to a auto part store and purchase a small
bottle of Never Seize and coat the battery/cable connections with the
stuff.
That is the most amazing stuff made - incredible - no corrosion.
Good luck.
