If there's enough space to get to the oil drain plug on your engine, you
might consider buying a hose with a connector that replaces the drain plug,
and can be passed through the transom drain plug; then you remove the plug
on the end of the hose for draining.
I saw it in a video about MerCruisers, and may add it to my 3 liter engin
when it's service next month. http://www.mercurymarine.com/3.0l_sd_-_135_hp

Just curious if anyone has a suggestion as to a decent pump to buy for
changing the oil in an I/O engine,
pumping it out thru the dip stick hole. One that works, not overly
expensive.

Thanks,
