Whitworth....tee hee hee. Weren't the old Triumphs Whitworth?
Dunno but a lot of bits on my Massey-Ferguson 65 Mk 2 tractor is.
Perkins 4 cyl diesel engine.
I was told
between Merican & Metric tools you could cover the Whitworth stuff.
Yeah, pretty much true I'd say. I just have a pile of Whitworth
spanners etc because I got them somewhere, cheap. Maybe off my father
originally, he owned a Brit Riley car most of his life.
My personal POV is that you can't say enough bad things about Brit
cars, bikes & especially Lucas electrics. I once made the mistake of
owning a Land Rover and could get the gearbox out & on the bench in 45
minutes cos I knew the precise sequence of disassembly, having done it
a large number of times. After that I bought a Mitsubishi 4WD and am
still driving it, original drivetrain, 22 years later. Might have to
get the MIG welder to the tray one of these days, tho.

Whatever. I have metric, SAE, Whitworth. Then again I obviously work on
a bigger variety of stuff than you do, and of a lot more modern
vintage. If all you have is a 60's Detroit iron car and a boat of
similar vintage, you won't need much.
Tip for you, though. Don't go far from US territorial waters. Nothing
is going to go well for you, with your mindset.
