Censure is defined as a formal, and public, group condemnation of an
individual, often a group member, whose actions run counter to the
group's acceptable standards for individual behavior.

In the United States, governmental censure is done when a body's members
wish to publicly reprimand the President of the United States, a member
of Congress, a judge or a cabinet member. It is a formal statement of
disapproval.

Nancy Pelosi certainly qualifies to be formally censured for
tearing up her copy of the SOTU address on national television,
especially in a formal, joint session of Congress.

I thought the spoiled brat scene she made was pretty tacky myself

It certainly makes it clear these are not the adults in the room.
The Democrat majority will never vote for censure tho.

Saw that Trump refused to shake Pelosi's hand before he started
speaking. Luddite didn't mention that.

He didn't shake Pence's hand either. Trump has always avoided it.
Germs you know ;-)

The Dems don't have the majority in the Senate. Doubt they will revisit
that possibility in the House. Like to see more charges there and more
investigations.

You really can't have a successful impeachment without a super
majority in the Senate. A Johnson was close but they had excluded
almost all of the former confederate states from the process.
(Tennessee was the exception because they were seen as being
successfully reconstructed).
Romney was the first person to actually cross party lines in an
impeachment. It is yet to be seen if he pays a political price. but
2024 is a long ways away.
