That's a pipe dream. With the raging deficit begun by Reagan and added
to each year since, especially a $1.2T debt created by the current
self avowed "king of debt," as in "I love debt...." Taxes will have
to go UP, just to pay the interest only. You can have that drunken,
feel-good, things will work out, rave... just know that the bar tab,
with interest, will come due.

The few dollars a pay period most actual working Americans might see
from the tax cut will be devoured by Trump's trade war if it comes to
pass with the PRC. Midwestern farmers are already paying a penalty
because Mexico is shopping other than in the USA to buy its corn and
other commodities, and there are serious shortages of Mexican farm
workers willing to risk crossing the border to do stoop labor in
California's crop fields. Food prices are going to go up, up, up as more
farms fail.

A problem with corn, is it is a food crop. But the Fed’s want it as an
energy crop. So little energy gain overall, does not overcome the extra
cost to sell it as food, especially in Mexico. Easy cure for the lack of
migrant workers. Bring back a modified Bracero program. Would also stop
most illegal immigration.

I'd wager that the "energy gain" is actually a environmental debt.
