I'd like to visit Croatia at the beginning of September for around 10 days. I
don't really know anything about Croatia so would welcome any suggestions on
where would be best.
I would like to keep costs low. How much does accommodation cost in Croatia. Is
going out cheap?
We would ideally like to stay in a town with lots of quaint tavernas which is
also safe at night. We are all in our low-twenties and would love a mix of
adventure / sightseeing. Is it very easy to hire small day-boats? Does the area
cater well for tourists?

As you can probably tell, I really don't know much about Croatia. I would like
to learn though. As I've already said, please let me know what it's really like
and whether it would be suitable for 4 students.
