Hey ya'll me and my bud matt finally decided to learn to roll an open boat
and this past Monday went to the GCA (Ga Canoe Assoc) roll practice pool session to start training. I am a very visual person and decided that it would be a good idea to video the training so we/I could learn from it. The link below is a low res video I did with my digital Nikon still camera of my bud Matt while he practiced and Allan Hedden was behind shaking and upsetting the boat to simulate rough water. I won't be starting my practice for a coupla weeks and I find this video very helpful to learn the techniques besides it's also fun to watch. Czeck it out at http://www.loshombresdelrio.com/combat_roll_training/ Its WMV video and it's 2.7 Mb. It'll take a few seconds to load if you have DSL but on dial up it could take quite a bit longer.
