Hi guys

I'm new here as I am thinking of buying a small, used, 25-28ft weekender
for use around the Solent. Any ideas of best buys or ones to avoid?

Am I right to prefer a diesel on grounds of economy and resale ability?

Useful pointers for an ex sail owner would be appreciated
