Default Q: Nav lights on a speedboat

Hi,

I have (another!) question for the group...

I'd like to be able to get into the water to watch the national firework
competition here in Plymouth in August.

Can I get away with a bi-colour nav light on the bow and an all-round white
light on the stern?

My boat is a 14ft Plancraft Stingray.

Thanks in advance,

David
