Hi all,
I have a folding Kayak ( Pouch RZ83) and I would like to do a week long camping tour in in this summer (July) with my son who is six years old. Having scouted around the news groups, I see that there are a fair few in german concerning faltboot. (folding boats) Sad but I'm not very good at german. Most of the tours also seem to be in Germany Anyway what I would like to ask is. Can anyone recomend a tour somewhere in france. Ideally somewhere where : Enough water, (can not touch the bottom much in kayak) Camping on beaches (prefer to camp sites) Not hugely popular, ( ie not Ardeche) Some nice scenery and rock climbing possibly Great fishing. Any other news groups that you could point me to ? Cheers for any tips Wilf |

Can I offer a bit of radical advice. How about Scotland? Ok we don't get the weather, but on every other count we come tops in the canoe world. Great canoing, legal access to all water in the country, free wild camping, stunning scenery, easy road access and we speak english - of sorts. We have a a new site which can help with any enquiries. www.songofthepaddle.co.uk. - maybe I'll bump into you there? All the best Moyler |
