Just wondering, I've got the latest issue of playboater magazine and in one
of the articles it suggests using plumbers pipe insulation (the silver slip on stuff) to put round the inside rim of the cockpit to save your shoulder when you carry your boat. Basically, they say you glue it on and then duct tape over it. Fair enough. Has anyone done anything similar to their boat? Is it still easy enough to get a deck on over the top? Perhaps that depends on the size of boat you have. If anyone has done someone similar and could send me a photo I'd love to see. I'd experiment with my own, but it's locked up on the club shed and I don't have a key!
