There will be no International Canoe Exhibition in February - it has
been post poned until April therefore we're holding a canoe
extravaganza in its place during half-term to get you ready for the
Easter holidays. From the 19th to the 26th of February Desperate
Measures will be holding an unbeatable sale on all products including
free demo nights at Holme Pierrepont Whitewater Course on each
Thursday**

On the Weekend of the 21st and 22nd there will be a Karnival of
special events on and off the water - drop into Desperate Measures
canoe shop on Trent Boulevard to collect your event programme (which
is also your ticket to discount paddling and prize draw entry).

a) Discount paddling. Adult entry £5.85 (normally £7.80) - Juniors
£3.37 (normally £4.10)

b) Free Demo boats from Perception, Necky, Liquidlogic, Dagger, Robson
and Pyranha.

c) 20% off sale at Desperate Measures (five minutes from the course)
all weekend.

d) Pyranha yard sale - strike a bargain from a range of seconds and
used boats.

e) Afternoon speakers at the Lakeside bar (Satruday) - Clive
Williamson of the Poly, on paddling the rivers of China and Pakistan -
and ‘Six ways to improve your freestyle' with Kayakojacko, coaches to
the GB freestyle team. The bar will be open and food available.

f) Free prize draw - your chance to win a Palm Fusion bouyancy aid;
your choice of Robson composite glass paddles; a weekends
accommodation for four at Bryn Du Mountain Centre, North Wales,
courtesy of Boulder Adventures or a two hour one-on-one coaching
session from Kayakojacko.

Hope to see you all there,

Regards,

Woods
