ok, i have decided to paddle from ironbridge through to
bridgeworth, has anyone got any info, or a decent map with rapids
and harrards marked?

Buy an OS map. I would get in at the rowing club below the Prince
Albert Bridge. Unless the river is very high, the only significant
hazard is the rapid at Jackfield. The degree of difficulty depends on
the river level and your ability. You can get out on the left hand
river bank above the rapid, inspect the rapid and make your own
judgement.

It is quite a pleasant paddle to Bridgnorth. I would get out on the
left bank immediately below the bridge. There is a difficult climb up
to a footpath and a car-park. There may be easier places.

...or get out at the Canoe Club above the bridge.

You could join in with the 'race' which is on 17 August, I believe, along
this course.

No need to inspect the rapid during the race - just watch where everyone

else
goes, then choose a different line...:-)
