Ile aux Coudres in Quebec. I've been searching the internet for info
on kayaking around there and have come up with zilch. If you have any
ideas or suggestions about where to launch, nice places to kayak,

looking for spots to kayak that won't be too killer. Just a few hours

Have you searched in English only or can you read French? There are a
number of websites in French that have some info. If you are willing to
go on a guided trip, there are sites like:

a crossing to the island as difficult (waves, wind and currents to
contend with).

There's also a local tourism office you can deal with and they can put
you in touch with any local kayak specialists:

If you're really desperate, you can try contacting Boreal Designs, the
kayak makers, they might have some contacts. They are in the suburbs of
