I'm still using a set of TLC saddles that are about 12 years old now, and they're still great! At one point, I did try a set of Makos, and they didn't get along well with my narrow, hard chined boat. Ah, well, you see, there I am. If I recall correctly, you have that home built Arctic Hawk, and the boat I'm wanting to put in the saddles is the Wilderness Sys Arctic Hawk. They are very similar boats, no? But I don't have the luxury of waiting around for a pair of TLCs to show up. In fact, in my neck of the woods, I might be waiting a long time. Hmmmm. Mike Soja Someday I'll have to replace my trusty old TLCs, so I'm always on the lookout for another used set somewhere! :-) |
