My wife and I would like to go down to Florida sometime in February for a long weekend and do some paddling. We have about two years of light touring experience on local (PA) lakes. Can anyone out there offer sugggestions as to best locations, outfitters, guided vs. self guided, etc. Thanks in advance! Ken In February you could probably find manatees to snorkel with at Crystal River or Homasassa springs. Also, February should be peak birding season in the keys and it's likely to be warmer that far down too. Just a couple of things to consider. |
