In the recent thread about the Prijon Calabria there were several posts
regarding the difficulty keeping skirts on plastic boats. Here is a cheap and simple solution. Get a bar of surf board wax from a surf store. Rub it liberally around and under the outer edge of your combing. It makes a "sticky" contact between the skirt rand (outer construction of the skirt) and the cockpit combing. Cost is about a dollar. I like Mrs. Palmer's cold water wax. It seems to stay softer in cold air temperatures. |
