In central Florida we use several standard autoboating products main reason
UV protection for our sit-on-tops and fiberglass..... make sure they are not abrasive and have high quality sun protection... Any well stocked boating facillity can guide you on product choice and econimical choices.... As the materials of our - plastic (any) and wood boats are the same as other common materials in the boat and pleasure craft industry... I would not necessarily use a 'wax' type product especially on a poly - or roto mold boat as the wax/solvent may not be compatible with my plastic , too much work, and limited UV protection. "Steven Bennett" wrote in message ... Has anyone heard of or has done any waxing to their plastic Kayak? I speak of the same sort of waxing that someone might wax their surf board, using what's knows as "Sex Wax". This is done to create less resistance on the water.. Just Curious.
