Perhaps not the best name for a kayak, but a nice place to paddle.
Wild ponies run free, but mosquitoes own the place in season.
It seems to be really common to name kayak models after good padding
locations. I have yet to paddle an Assateague but a friend of mine just
started dealing Impex boats and I've been out in a Currituck. Seems like a
real nice boat, especially for instruction. It reminded me a lot of a
Romany. It was very manoeverable, had good initial and very good secondary
stabilitly, but like the Romany, felt a bit sluggish to me.
