As promised some more detailed pics:
The quay in front is under extensive reconstruction, when it's finished
(2008) more offshore supply vessels and/or dive support vessels can be
serviced. The outline is already visible.

The two suppliers (Orange one is Toisa Invincible from Nasau, the red one
is the Malaviya Twenty) in the picture are being loaded/unloaded at the
offshore service and logistics centre, a dedicated quay for offshore supply
vessels. This was the first time I saw these particular vessels in our
port.

In the background the bridge of the ferry to Texel can be seen.
