This is at least the second shot of this beautiful ketch, however, it is not
'US' it is Dutch. It clearly carries the Dutch flag and the 'NED' on the
sail is for the Netherlands. Perhaps some confusion is understandable, since
it is named after a Greek muse.

pe.rhodes,
I don't use the country code "US" to state what country the ship is from, it
is
to show what country the photo was taken in. Maybe I have been doing it
wrong.
In the rail group that I post in we use the country that the photo was taken
in.
If a Canadian engine is photographed in the USA it is labeled "US" and
vise-versa.
What are the rules? Is there a need for the country prefix?
I'm happy to do it either way :-)

Paul

Paul.... DO IT ANY WAY YOU WANT.

There are not enough posters nor are there enough postings that anybody
in this group should be getting their panties in a knot over a flag on
the stern or at which port or country the photo was taken.

We are all adults here and if someone is that idly curious and wishes to
know just where a particular shot was taken.... they can ask.

I don't know about the rest of the group but I come here for the
pictures and personally don't care where they were taken.

I use a country code in the title of my messages as well. Strictly
speaking, I'm using the wrong code (NL instead of NED).

I do like to know where a shot was taken, but I'm not really interested
in the country of origin of the ships.

As long as people keep on posting nice pictures, I'm happy!

Thanx for another nice shot!

Regards,

Jeroen
