you don,t "need" a lot of power, we lost a prop while traveling between
Maui & Lanai. boat owners sez, not to worry. opens a cabinet and pulls
out a tiny little outboard, sets it on the transom of the cabin crusier,
and we putted along into harbor , late. but not stranded. .

I know John, I was making a joke because all the boats around here have
3 or 4 300hp engines on them. I thought this guy might want to keep up
with the trend.

that one almost looks like the El Toro sailboats we used to race. .

It looked a bit precarious to me, I was glad I was on the much larger
ferry boat.
