Default Tug - CAPT TOM 10-17.jpg

Super zoom shot from about 2 miles away . Tug Capt. Tom ( lower left )
taking an empty hopper barge to a stone quarry just ahead . Going
across the bridge is CSX train Q409 southbound on the Philly sub .

The stone quarry that was dormant for about 10 years has come alive
and is now shipping out stone 24 hours a day , mostly by barge. They
occasionally come up by me but mostly they haul down the bay to both
big and small cities, using a fleet of 5 - 6 company owened tug boats
..
