Default MV MIGRATOR 4-16.jpg

Not sure if this is a fishing or EPA type monitor boat but she goes up
and down the Delaware River doing something .

Is that a Fort in the background? We have one like that in Newport RI.

Is that a Fort in the background? We have one like that in Newport RI.

In the background is historic Fort Delaware on Pea Patch Island , now
a State Park . The Fort's last big function was to hold captured
Confederate soldiers , most of whom died there . Some locals refer
to it as Mosquito Island as the little insects tear you up as soon as
you get off the little ferry boat that takes you there .
