The Polsteam (formerly Polish Steamship Co) freighter Raba is
downbound in the Welland Canal into Lock 1 and a very nice day. She is
carrying grain that was loaded in Duluth Minnesota at the end of June.
Their destination shows as Puerto Cabello Venezuela.

Those who study the picture might note that the ship appears to be
only partly loaded. She is fully loaded for Seaway and Canal drafts.
She topped up in Montreal to her full load level. Yes, this happens
all the time with salties loading on the Great Lakes.
