Blade Load - HHL Elbe ready to leave Lock 7 2014-0705 IMG_5536.jpg
The heavy lift ship HHL Elbe (formerly BBC Alaska) is raised up in
Lock 7 (Thorold, Ontario) of the Welland Canal. The cargo is wind turbine blades headed to Muskegon Michigan on Lake Michigan. I think this is the first wind turbine load of the year. Steve |
