Default NL - IJsselmeer - Trintella's under sail - File 01 of 18 - Trintella2009-01.jpg (0/2)

Some old pictures from the harddrive. Might be a repost, but I'm not sure.
Anyway these show yacht's of the Trintella brand dating from the 60's
through the 90's.

The yacht's shown in pic 12-14 are the same as my own "Vrouwe Cornelia".
She is shown on pic 18 (it's the one in the middle)

Regards,

Jeroen

Wonderful is the sailing. It has been about 40 years ago that I did
that stuff. Will never forget the feeling of the tiller trembling in
my hands. Nor the day we almost got dragged aground in a sudden gale
and hard rain. No I will not forget it.

Beautiful pictures of sailing Jeroen.
It makes this old man homesick when I lived in Friesland 10 km from Stavoren
till my 16th year a long time ago;-)

This weekend I'll start making the Vrouwe Cornelia ready for herr
winterberth... So no more sailing for me the coming months/

Being dragged aground should be an apetite killer... Glad you got out ok!

Friesland is one of the nicest places in the Netherlands to relax on a
boat. No stress even in gales. And lot's of entertainment from people on
boats with no clue about what to do..

I think I have a small serie of photos from me trying to pass the bridge
near Galamadammen on a very busy moment. There was a lot going on.. Not
everything went according to the rules, but in the end everyone got out ok.

Regards,

Jeroen

Now there is no bridge anymore, in the southwest of Friesland they made 5
aquaducts, also at Galamadammen.
I skated many times under that bridge goïng from the Morra to the
Fluessen;-)
