Found in an other NG whdgmgardner_thevilledeparis.jpg (1/1)
Despite the name, a British-built Royal Navy First Rate. Named for De
Grasse' Flagship captured at The Saintes, but which sank in a storm shortly afterwards. As the captor, the RN claimed the right to use the name thereafter. Cheers, Moramarth |
