Nl - Den Helder - Tall Ship Races 2008 batch 6
Various shots of the Tall Ships race fleet in harbour in Den Helder. The
smaller vessels that is. No editing and no sorting, with a few copies due to exporting the RAW and JPG files in one batch. Pic 9 shows the "Tres Hombres" a Den Helder based tall ship. The owners are planning to ship goods throughout Europe without the aid of an engine. They too the engine out of the hull and make use of the wind only. Their motto is "van A naar B zonder CO2" which translates into from a to B, without CO2 (in Dutch it rhimes.). More info http://www.zeilendehandelsvaart.nl/ Enjoy, Jeroen |

I'm afraid that a lot of harbours will refuse "Tres Hombres" coming in without an engine aboard. -- Greetings Bouler (The Netherlands) |
