Default Harry O'Brien High Point Award

Dayton Record Runs Assoc. is pleased to announce the establishment of
the Harry O'Brien Memorial High Point Award which will be inagurated
at this year's Great American Outboard Race in Dayton, Ohio. The
award will go to the driver garnering the most points during racing at
this years' event. The late Mr. O'Brien was master engine-builder and
supporter of outboard racing during his life time. In his later
years, Mr. O'Brien and his wife, Ruby, were solely responsible for
publishing the Propwash, which is the official news publication of the
Indiana Outboard Association. His son, Mike O'Brien, was a many-time
national champion and record-holder in the large runabout classes in
the Modified Category. Dayton Record Runs is please to initiate this
award in Mr. O'Brien's memory. 14-H.
