Since my original posting, I have reduced my price, replaced the cockpit
side panels, and installed new cockpit carpeting. After my initial
post, I had quite a few hits on the web site, but only a few queries.
If you were interested before, take another look and make an
appointment to see her. Rather than pay storage on a boat I am
selling, I will be willing to negotiate further.

Introduced in 1987 sporting lines that still grace todays vessels, the
Antigua 265 is probably the roomiest 26 foot sunbridge cruiser ever
built. Her cabin feels more like her overall length of 28 feet (LOA
without pulpit), than her waterline length of 26 feet. She sleeps six,
in the typical boating style (read: crowded), but three adults can stay
aboard for days on end as they will each have a private sleeping area.
She offers seating for six adults in the cockpit and/or five adults out
of the elements in the comfort of her cabin. Her narrow beam, and
high deep vee hull lets her ride gently into Lake Erie chop, and be
trailered anywhere withoout special permits, but in my opinion makes her
somewhat "tippy" when taking large swells on the beam. Her 260HP V8
keeps her fron being a speed demon, but she will get three adults and
their gear on plane with power to spare.

The boat is in pretty good condition for its age. I am only the third
owner as of 6/2004. The topsides have a few spider cracks in the
gel-cote but nothing major. The exterior seats are in good shape with
the helm seats replaced last year. Her interior has been recently
updated with new layout and cushions. She has had recent upgrades such
as a bilge counter and alarm, a fuel flow meter and an overhaul of her
shifting system, as well as new transom seals last year. All told her
upgrades and repairs total about $5000, which does not include my labor
or the raw materials I've purchased.

This boat is currently insured for $14,000. In 2004, BUC listed the
Antigua at $12,200 to $13,900, without any options or extras in only
average condition, and without a trailer. My asking price is
$11,000.00 for the boat with all of the $2700 in negotiable extras
listed on the web site, as well as a triple axle trailer for short
transport. This price is VERY flexible depending on the extras
negotiated.

Interested parties can contact me at my email address:
sailbad_d_sinner(a)hotmail.com or via phone at : 216-849-8468.

Please leave a message regarding the boat with your name and an
appropriate time to return your call. For ANY interested party I will
make myself available to show the boat, offering a sea trial to serious
buyers before 10/15/2005.

PLEASE NOTE: I Have absolutely no desire to sell the boat through a
third party who "has an overseas client". All transactions are to be
face to face, with cash, or check drawn from a US bank with branch
offices in Northeastern Ohio.
