Switching our boat to a high-output alternator and Freedom 15 charger/inverter. The Mase Mariner 6000 is powered by a Ruggerini diesel which runs great, but the generator only puts out 100v. at about 59 cps. I think it might be a governor problem, or possibly something in the unit's "brain." In any case, I'd like to recover the cost of removing the genset from our boat and maybe a couple bucks more. Probably not worth shipping, but if you can pick it up--or persuade me to deliver it--this unit could be an economical solution to your dreams of a genset.
