FS: Radio/Marine VHF in NY
A long time ago...in a galaxy far, far away...there was THIS MARINE RADIO! This
is a pretty old Ray Jefferson Model 5000M. The unit shows some wear as
expected, but is pretty clean. There is a rotary channel selector, power
switch, channel 16 button and so on. Pulling the squelch knob turns on the
green backlight. The microphone says US Marine on it. I hooked this unit up to
12V and a marine whip. It seems to work fine. There was a bit of hum on
transmit, maybe because it wasn't grounded. Sounded clear on my handheld. The
back of the unit has a speaker out, antenna and power. NO power cable for this
unit, but easy to make. AS IS, but NO WAY DOA! Shipping is a flat 6.75 in the
