FS Project Boat (Morgan Out Islander 33) in Ontario, Canada.
We have been asked to list a Morgan Out Islander 33 on our brokerage.
Problem is that the owner stripped boat interior and is only part way through restoration so it is not really suitable for listing as is. Perhaps someone is looking for a project boat? The owner bought this boat with the idea of completely refitting for use as a liveaboard. As a result, he removed much of the interior as well as the engine, stove etc. He has done a lot of work, but there is still a lot to do. Some items are listed below: - paint interior of hull (owner has it prepared for painting) - finish and paint interior woodwork plus re-install trim - reinstall stove, plumbing, lighting, electrical panels etc. - reinstall engine (owner would do this if need be) - strip and repaint mast - etc?? Much of the hardware to complete is available. The engine is on a test stand and can be run. This is without question a project boat. Asking price is C$30,000 (~US$21,600)Depending on how well it is finished, it could be worth say US$30-$40k (C$45-$60,000). If there is anyone that is interested, there are some details at www.windjammersails.com and we can email more pictures of the interior as it is now.
