Default FS: GARMIN GPS in VA

nah, the dude is just trying to joker someone into paying a couple hundred
dollars for an obsolete, battery hog Model 45 he maybe picked up at a tag sale
for $4.

(I use the eTrex as backup on my boat and it works just fine. That older
stuff, as above, just plain uses tooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many batteries to
be useful even as backup.)


Practical Sailor states that there is really no place on a boat for an
eTrex.

Is it too big for your boat? Does it not work on the water?
Does it not provide a fix?
