I am married to portagee / North eyetalian. And the rest is Scottish. I

A little ways behind both of you - 34 years this coming July - full

God we're getting old.

Now I'm depressed.

Ask Don how he stops the little Ranger 4x2 and the 2300 lb load. I would
bet that the little itty bitty transmission in that little Ranger 4x2 is
about at it's end of life.
I apply the brakes as needed.
After the big trip I noticed a burnt smell in the transmission fluid so I
took it directly to the dealer to have the transmission drained &
flushed. New fluid was added and all is right. It had less than 10K
miles at that time.
I blame the overloading on the trailer suspension collapsing, causing the
tires to wear right through the heavy steel fenders.
Your rubber tires wore through your "heavy steel fenders"? Sure, moron.

Do you take stupid pills daily?
I mean what I say and have the photos to prove it.
I even have copies of the letters I sent to the Federal Dept of
Transportation, the Motor Vehicle Departments of three Canadian provinces,
plus the Nova Scotia Better Business Bureau after the local backyard boat
trailer manufacturer refused to fix the damage

Post the photos big mouth.

Why should he, because you demanded he do? If you don't believe
him........tough. Get a life.

He said has the photos to prove it. What compelled *you* to reply?

Went to a job interview once and rushing to make the train, put my
overcoat on over my shirt, forgetting my suit coat.
Didn't realize it until I was on the train.
This was when some "consultants" were expected to wear 3-pieces.
Got the job anyway.
I told one jomoca account manager who suggested I get a 3-piece,
"Sure, if I can expense it."
Never had one.
My wife got all my suits from rummage stores for 5 bucks.
One new Brooks Brothers she paid $20 for.
Of course that's me. I can understand others not wanting to possibly
wear the clothing of the deceased. I just figured the prev owners
gained weight and the suits wouldn't fit any more.
Doesn't matter. I did the suits proud. And I gots money for a boat.

When I stopped working I either gave or threw every business suit and tie
I
had away.

I told everyone in my family, young and old, that if anyone of them
planned
on getting married or dying, don't bother inviting me to the ceremonies,
because I won't wear a suit.

Did go to a wedding though .... decent pants, shoes and a shirt. No suit.
No tie.

Dude - even I have two suits, a couple of sports jackets and ties.

Mrs. Wave makes me wear them to important things like weddings,
furnerals, baby christenings, etc.

You are one lucky guy. :)- Hide quoted text -

I have 4 nice suits probably 10 sport jackets about 20 dress shirts
a good variety of Dockers and probably about 100 ties.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ties??
I was reading somewhere that doctors' ties are one of the worst sources for
germs etc.
You can imagine...all those sick people sneezing or breathing on them while
the doc does his examination.
The doctor touches the tie and then sees you next.
How often do people dryclean/wash ties anyway??
mmmmmm that's an idea..a spray something like Febreze Antibacterial Spray
just for ties.
If I could just get a fraction of the 'merican cruise ship passangers, who
pass through here yearly, to buy I'd be driving two BMWs to impress the
neighbours!

Do you eat a lot of ties, Donnie?

In my old elementary school, we put those guys in the 'auxiliary class', so
they wouldn't bother the normal students.
