Can't promise I'll be able to participate much on here for a while yet though... His various alias's include: Kevin, BassKisser and several others that I cannot recall at the moment. We also have another member here using various handles, his most current being Reginald Smithers. Both are from the Atlanta area. BTW: Welcome back, but unfortunately this is no longer a boating NG. A scroll through the various topics will show that fact. |

Welcome back Dave, hope things are going well for you. As you may recall we met in the summer of 2000 on our way through the Rideau Canal on our old Bertram 33, Dorothy Jane. Unfortunately our new boat is a tad too big for the Rideau but I would like to do the St Lawrence River loop one of these years, out and around to Nova Scotia, Maine, etc. How is the price of marine diesel up your way? |

I don't get down to your part of the creek too much, but I spend a week's vacation every year in the Ogdensburg/Prescott Bridge area, on the US side. Bass fishing was great this year. They're getting fat and sassy on those gobies, aren't they? TJ |

Kingston is indeed "up the creek" from where I stay when I'm on vacation. However, it's "down" from where I live. It's an old habit. I live on top of a hill, in the highest inhabited part of my county, and one of the most beautiful areas in New York State. (But maybe I'm prejudiced. I've lived here all my life.) Most places are "down" from here - in more ways than one... TJ |
