Only a couple of feet of storm surge at the marina, but enough water and
muck to get into the bearings of some trailer boaters. Glad I hauled the
boat up to the driveway.

Oh...sorry...this is a snapshot of a boat. Not a golf club, travel
trailer, a rugrat, a guitar, or any of the other off-topic photos that
are posted here.

Don't like the photo? ESAD.

WOW, I can see why you posted that photo. Hanna really messed up that boat.

Wow, more of your incredible photography skills that you claim!
Was there any damage to your 36' Zimmerman like lobster boat floating
RV?
Oh, forgot, that was but another of your lies!

If a boat trailer gets water and muck in the bearings from a high tide, has
to be a junk trailer. The damn things are designed to be dipped in the
water.

Sure, Bilious...whatever you say.

BTW, it isn't a "high tide," it's a storm surge, and it is across a
bluestone, sand, and gravel covered parking lot. The owner of the marina
tells those whose trailers are parked in low areas to move them before a
heavy surge in order to prevent any possible problems caused by the
particles in the surge. I move my trailer when asked to do so, so I
haven't had the problem. But others apparently have. I figure the marina
owner knows a bit more about the problem than, say, you.

Don't like my caution?

ESAD.

You would think that would be obvious, but there are those that don't
have a clue.
By the way we are trying to clean up the newsgroup by ignoring Krause
and friends. So far the cleanup is going very well as you probably have
noticed. Your participation in the cleanup would be welcome. Strictly
voluntary of course.
