....has come and gone. Actually, we got just a trace of rain and
little wind here around Lake Murray, SC. It's a beautiful day, and I'm headed out to clean and repack the last two bearings on the boat trailer axles. Some others along the coast aren't as fortunate, so stay safe! |

I am heading out in a bit for the boat. Plan to hang out on it during the storm as it hits up here later this evening. If it goes as typical, the weather guessers will have hyped the bananas out of it, but right now they are forecasting sustained winds of 50 mph with gusts over 60 mph along the southern coast of Cape Cod (Buzzard's Bay). That's enough to make me go down and double up the lines, at least. Eisboch |

Eisboch At the moment, it is raining steadily here, not what I would call a downpour or close to it, and the wind out of the NNE is gusting from about 2 to 10 mph. Based upon the bowl of leftovers (now empty) I put out last night for the foxes and raccoons, I'd say we have had between a 1/2" to 3/4" of rain in the last 12 hours. My guess is that we are in the forward weather band area of the tropical storm. |

Harry, Why you may think this qualifies as a charitable contribution, in reality you are providing them with a very unhealthy diet, discouraging them from eating a healthy diet, encouraging them to forage and rely on humans for their food and teach their young not to be fearful of humans and to visit their homes for food, instead of how to eat a balanced diet in the wild. This feeble attempt at charity is one of the worst things you can do for wildlife. Even though you know and understand why you should not feed wildlife, you continue because you can say "see what I do to help". Reminds me of that commercial for Shake and Bake, where the little girl is bragging ".... and I helped". |

The branches of the big oaks out back are barely fluttering. The rain is little more than a heavy drizzle. Don't get too hyped. |

He draws them in close with food so he doesn't have to get dressed and go outside into the woods to view the wildlife. Soon they will be getting into his things and become destructive varmints. At that point he will probably poison them or shoot them. What a guy! |

From the University of South Carolina's web site: "The reasons USC athletic teams originally chose their colors and the moniker "Gamecocks" are obscure.Garnet and black have always been USC's athletic colors ..." If you notice, it is VERY common for University of South Carolina to be referred to as USC. Sort of similar to the University of Georgia being referred to as "Georgia", "UGA" and "Dogs". What do they call your alma mater? |

That's all I can say. You went to the University of South Carolina? Didn't know that. USC usually refers to the University of Southern California, BrownieBoy. http://www.usc.edu/ South Carolina is usually initialized as: http://www.sc.edu/ Wrong. They even did a promo a few years ago with "THE USC" as the tagline. Everyone in the southern states knows that when they hear USC it's South Carolina, not Kaliforna. Everyone else is just wrong. He's continually manages to prove it day in and day out that he is totally out of touch with reality. You have to remember that this is a person who was a victim of statuatory rape - or so he claims. His personality was damaged by it. |
