I'm 6'2-1/2" tall. That extra 1/2 inch is mighty important to Harry, you know. *He just *had* to point that out. BTW ..... nice try in your attempt to start a bonifide, on-topic, boating related thread regarding the boat painting. I've often heard of the "roll and tip" method and have seen the impressive results, but had never done it or even understood it. Too bad Harry had to immediately jump on your case with personal insults as usual, even after all his complaining of rec.boats going down the toilet, etc. * *Seems he just can't help to to jump at every opportunity. Eisboch Have you not seen the results of JustWait's painting prowess, or his own admission today that he is a sloppy painter? If you want to see expert paintwork, look at the job Chuck had done on his tugboat. Who said (including justwait) *anything about "expert paintwork". *I appreciated his explanation of how the roll and tip technique is applied. Why don't you go find some more stuff to cut and paste about something else you know absolutely nothing about? Eisboch Googling is tough up your way, eh? http://hubpages.com/hub/Roll-and-Tip-Method-of-Painting We just repainted our dining room using the roll and tip method. We've used the "technique" for years. Don't you ever repaint anything? You roll and tip walls??????????- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Sure he does.. and Lobsta' boats too;)- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - I can't WAIT to talk to the guy at the end of my street that has a painting company and tell him that Harry claims to roll and tip satin paint on interior walls!!!!!! |

I think Eisboch has earned his stripes in the Dwarf Army. What do you think, John. Just because he's tired of all the election crap doesn't mean that he's ready to take marching orders from the Lt. Colonel. It takes a real drone to fit in that motley crew. This army is comprised of independent soldiers. If we were to unite, You and WAFA would be left talking to yourselves. Jimmie boy has already smartened up and got his nose out of WAFA's ass. Unfortunately he still stinks of his association with WAFA and other things of his own making. Take care Donnie. Nice talking with you. |

It's down to three against the world. Perhaps they can drag more liberals in from their other group. Eisboch's OK. I think his gentlemanly conduct and willingness to talk to Harry just provided Harry with another forum for his crap. It takes a while to realize that a 'debate' with Harry is simply a debate with a four-foot head. |

A real mom speaks out
"hk" wrote in message . .. Unexpurgated comment from a real mom and, i can guarantee i keep a closer eye on my boys than sarah palin apparently kept on her daughter. and, even if this pretty young couple gets married, i suppose we'll see another chapter of their "normal" family when they divorce in 3-5 years. You are the one who brags about all the sex he got in highschool. And you are divorced also. |

It piqued my curiosity too, since I had never heard of it and used to do house painting with my brother, who was a pro for many years. Good excuse to call him. He never heard of it either, but has used the tipping part when lacquering furniture to get it mirror-like. Just doesn't apply to house painting. But I did get to reminisce about Wooster hog bristles. --Vic |

A real mom speaks out
"hk" wrote in message . .. Unexpurgated comment from a real mom as a pro-choice mother of teenage boys, the fundamentalist view being portrayed nationwide as this teen pregnancy being hailed as a "blessed event" scares the sh** out of me. i live in a rural area that has one of the state's highest teen pregnancy rates. this has been discussed openly in our home because i have witnessed over and over the "joy" little girls portray as they drop out of school and push their baby carriages around town. i have seen the young men drop out of school, get a job to buy diapers just because they had unprotected sex. i have always encouraged my boys to wait to have sex, but i know there are families out there, just like the palins, that will throw a big party for the child-mom who "chooses" to have the baby. i am scared to death of the teen girls who are watching who are hearing just what they want to hear - go ahead - get pregnant. my boys have access to condoms, and i sure hope they use them. and, i can guarantee i keep a closer eye on my boys than sarah palin apparently kept on her daughter. and, even if this pretty young couple gets married, i suppose we'll see another chapter of their "normal" family when they divorce in 3-5 years. How do we know that you didn't author this little snippet? |
