"little cutsie" stuff. to the point I just knock the emails out.

a good friend over this. In his most recent e-mail, he called me a
racist (actually implied it) with no basis so it is gettign worse. I

If he is namecalling, he is insecure about his writing, that is the
way the far left handles opposing viewpoints. They really can't handle
honest debate, as their ideology is not based on logic, but emotion
and insecurity. I would post his writing to the local paper, see how
strongly he really feels about his ideas...

Sounds like you aready lost your "good friend". If he's emailed a
group impling you are a racist and then asking you to respond only to
him, then I'd say forget him and move on. He's not even remotely your
friend, let alone a good friend.
