I think says it all:

After all, Biden is anything but a change agent, having been in office
longer than half of all Americans have been alive. Longer than McCain.

And he talks too much.

On the same day he announced his second bid for the presidency, Biden
found himself explaining why he had described Obama as "clean."

And there's the 2007 ABC interview in which Biden said he would stand by
an earlier statement that Obama was not ready to serve as president.

It seems Obama is worried that some voters are starting to agree.

Here's a short little article with a great last line:

"Why is it this way round: why isn't the able, experienced, reassuring guy
the one at the top of the ticket?"

LOL, Obama is beginning to look like all the other Dem tickets,
stumbling all over himself and letting a sure thing get away.

With all of the problems the Rep's have had in the last few years, it
looks like they will blow this one too. I NEVER would have guessed that
was possible.

Now, both Bill Clinton and Joe Biden will be giving speeches at the
convention.

Time for another DVR hard drive upgrade.

I wonder if the DNC will start to play music (as the do at the Oscars)
if they go beyond their allotted time slot.

Don't go wetting yourself just yet. The campaign is just starting, and a
lot can and will happen. At this time in 1988, Dukakis was up by 17
points. Funny, but I don't remember a President Dukakis.

I was just thinking .... if McCain goes with Romney, it will be an
interesting match up with Obama/Biden, especially when both sides start
playing dirty.

Obama and Romney are more alike .... somewhat reserved and polite in their
exchanges. Both find it somewhat uncomfortable to engage in close quarter,
confrontational attacks.

It will be left to McCain versus Biden in the game of making viscous,
personal attacks. Both are evenly matched, with Biden perhaps having a
slight advantage in the capability of pure, unadulterated nastiness.

Yeah, really. I'd put Bill on about three hours after the end of prime
time. On the other hand, Bill will do a terrific job of reminding
everyone how well the country did with him at the helm, and how crappy
is is doing now, and that McCain is just four more years of Bush.

I have a feeling Biden will be a bit more disciplined.

One good thing about Biden, of course, is that he actually knows
something. That alone differentiates him from the top and second banana
of the Republican ticket. McCain is one senior moment after another, and
Romney is the flip-flop champion of the GOP.

A second good thing about Biden is that the professional Republican
slimers are already on the attack.

I can't wait for Obama and Biden at some point in the campaign to pledge
to NOT send the sons and daughters of America off to a war because of a
mistake or for political reasons.
