That is winter here brrr

We had another great day on/in the water today. The water temp was perfect
as was the air temp. The boat ran flawlessly.

My wife and I swam in bath water temps in the Gulf, Atlantic and
Pacific...........not refreshing and not the way we like it. We also do
not have critters in the water that will sting, bite or eat you. ;-)

Our swimming hole (normally a quiet beach) was pretty busy today and we met
some interesting characters.

Another great day!

Also do not have surf for nice boarding, or tuna for catching.

Lake Erie has its share of 'stuff' floating around in it!

Not true............there are days where the lake is so rough folks
surf on it. As far as tuna...you win. However we have our yellow
perch, walleye and bass.

BTW: I have to admit that blue water fishing is fun. I attended an
conference in Miami several years back and 4 of us from the conference
chartered a fishing boat. Ocean fish are definitely stronger pound
for pound than lake fish. We had a nice catch and were able to eat
our catch at the restaurant behind the marina.

I also love the San Francisco area and understand why you love living
and boatng there.

I was born here. Parents and brother are from Western Nebraska. Mom tells
about -42 degrees. That would suck. Spent a year in Dayton, OH. Going to
a company school. Highest point in the state 1504'. No great skiing, large
shallow lakes. Snow in the winter. All big negatives. If I want snow, I
drive 3 hours to the ski resort, and then come home to no snow. We did have
snow here in 1979. 2" maybe.

You forgot to mention that their habitat is the island area only.
They are also not venomous.

We swam off our boat several time when docked at Kelley's Island and
they swam among us.......no problem.

Try again Jim.

OK Jim H
You lied when you said "We also do
not have critters in the water that will sting, bite or eat you. ;-)"

The link I pointed you to has all the information you need. Unfortunately
you munged the link but anyone that is curious can Google "Lake Erie water
snake"
I'd swear that you are as big a liar as WAFA Harry. If swimming in 74 degree
water (brrrr) among slithering creatures is as good as it gets for you, then
I do truly feel sorry for you and your poor wife. ;-)
