Fill a one gallon tank and run around until you run out of gas. Divide
60 by the number of minutes it took you to run out of gas. the result
is gallons per hour for the ride you just took. Go faster or slower or
load your boat differently or forget to clean the bottom or ding your
prop or change your trim or use different gas or mix it differently
and your numbers will change.
