John McCain. Flip-flopper, panderer, lost his bipartisanship a long time
ago, and is now a Bush suck up, man of questioned principles, war record
irrelevant. Oh, and four more years of Buschitt.

Also has Joe Lieberman on his short list.

Which I don't find the least bit endearing.

Yet another reason not to vote for him. I hope McCain picks Lieberman
and Obama picks Biden. Biden would kick Lieberman's nuts off in a debate.

Biden would try and make Obama switch places with him.

Speaking of Joe, why did he drop his presidential bid in 1987?

You really don't have a good track record predicting elections.

Seems like some of the same stuff would be used against him when running
for VP.

I like Biden, but Obama would be making a mistake picking him. He has a
history of putting his foot in his mouth, a distraction Obama doesn't
need.

Indeed he does...but he is a charmer, the ladies like him, he's smart,
and the Senator from Indiana and the Governor of Virginia put me to
sleep, competent as they are. Obama could surprise us all and pick my
first choice for president, Hillary. That seems unlikely.

I remember watching and listening to Biden many years ago. He struck me as
being an egotistical bad ass, fresh from his law practice days, an
observation apparently shared by others, even in his own party, because he
was not always well received by his peers.

Over the years, he seems to have calmed down a bit and has learned how the
system works by working more with his colleagues and sharing credit.
Occasionally though, you see a flash of the old Biden, and it isn't pretty.

I think it may be becoming more and more possible. He and his advisors
can't help but to notice his slippage of late, and the act is getting
ho-hum.
He may be forced to do something radical.

Well, Hillary was and is my first choice. If she's second banana, that's
ok with me. I think Obama would make a terrific president, but as I
stated previously, I don't think he has the stomach to compete in the
dirt-tossing elections the Republicans have brought us. Hillary has more
balls than any other politician I've ever watched, with the possible
exception of Richard Nixon.
