Now *there* is something to be envious about. All my stuff is electric,
except the chain saw, and I'm thinking of getting an electric chain saw.

Oh for a whole bunch of two-cycle engine stuff!!

Don't blame you.

Yup, only thing more annoying than that lineup is a 2 cycle chain saw.

I do a fall cleanup here at El Rancho De Moron and hire a local crew
to do it - if only because I hate raking leaves.

It is an experience. :)

Leaf raking is not a continuous experience for you in the fall? Hell, you
need more variety in your oak and maple trees!

clippings is dumb. I have never understood why anyone awould want to
do it.

Grass clippings and leaves are two different animals. Leaving leaves on the
lawn will leave the lawn dead. (Alliteration, or what!!!)

I mulch my grass, I was referring to leaves of deciduous trees. They
smother the lawn.

It was a general remark, provoked by mention of a grass catcher. I
didn't quite accuse you of bagging the grass. Smother isn't really the
word, but leaves will kill the grass.

Casady

Sure, smother is the right word. The inability of the grass to take in
CO2........
As well as lack of sunlight.

I would advise someone with your coordination to stay well away from a
chainsaw....even an electric version.

For starters...just getting your mouth (fingers) and brain in the same gear.

Nope, don't have that problem.

But, you do sound upset for some reason. Is everything all right?
