Come on, do you really think Obama doesn't know what committees he is on?
These guys are giving hundreds a speeches a week. He misspoke. *So what?

The righties are desperate for something - anything - on which to make an
issue. Their boy McCain is going down big time, and so are a lot of GOP
Senate and House members. It's going to get really really ugly on the
right as the election gets closer.

I acknowledged a while ago that I was impressed with Obama. * However, as
time as passed and I listen more closely, I become less so. *He's a nice,
neat package, but there's something missing.

I said that months ago but then I saw a couple of real sit down
interviews and realized he is an empty suit. He has no idea where he
wants to take the country, and how to get there. The questions were
good (Chris Matthews) but the followups were blown off with more
elegant verse. He has no handle on the middle east, is blinded by
ideology on energy and the connection to security, and he has no place
as commander and chief of anything. Nice guy, make a great first
selectman....

I wouldn't disagree with that to a point. They don't have to be close to
an Einstein, but a basic competency would go a long, long, way. Arrogant
and stupid is not the right package, as the past 8 years has shown. I'm
not saying McCain is either, but I am suspicious, just suspicious, that
his best years are behind him.

Interesting you should say this. While I'm tending towards Obama, my
decision hasn't been made. One of my concerns is McCain's brain power.
I've noticed on several occasions, his aides feeding him lines. So far,
it could just be campaign fatigue, but it is something to keep an eye on.

Harry .... read carefully what I wrote before you jump the gun.

He sure as hell looked and sounded like a President during the speech he
just gave in Berlin, even when he said, "My father grew up herding goats
in Kenya."

Obama is no Einstein, and I agree that level of IQ is not necessary, but
you don't want a blooming idiot whose mind shows the impact of booze
and drugs in the White House, and that's what we have now.

Obama is presidential. John McCain is a Bush retread.

Call it instinct, call it whatever .... but ...

What is starting to bother me about Obama when I listen to him respond to
some tough, "touchy" questions, is how he hems and haws a bit ... gets a
little tongue-tied .... while searching his mind for the politically correct
response.

Seems to me, ideals, values, plans, beliefs, etc. should be second nature
and on the tip of your tongue. He thinks too much and I am not sure it's
for the right reasons.

This opinion is based upon what, your interactions with other neglectful

Want to hear something really weird?

I don't think he's going to be the nominee.

I think Hillary is going to gum up the works.

This could be true but it would be foolish to parade her out again. They
must have a secret weapon hiding in the wings. But who could save the
democrats at this late date?

Get your McCain/Romney bumper sticker before they run out.
