I grew up in the suburbs and the lot was about an acre.......I had to cut it with a push mower. We could not afford to have someone come over to fix it so my Dad fixed it himself. Wire feed is actually easier to learn than stick welding. *Also you can get nicer welds, especially if using inert gas as opposed to flux cored wire.
