I am interested in purchasing a 1987 Pearson 31-2 local to me.
But try as I might I can't seem to find specs on hull and deck
construction. I know the Deck is balsa core but what about the hull.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
Also and owners that can tell me stuff about the boat like the way it
handles, engine tips etc. would be great.

I just bought the same exact boat and LOVE it. Sails like a dream,
she iss fast, she points well, etc. The boat is awesome on the inside
too.. Wife loves pressure hot water! Lot of room, stowage, ports,
etc. The only thing I dont like and it is super minor..is that the
pump out is in the anchor locker. It is a pain if you keep the anchor
in there and not on the roller. Here is a link with more info on the
